image We all need a desert island wine. This one’s mine

Anyone who’s known me for more than three minutes know that patience is not my strong suit. And that I have zero willpower. And take no responsibility for my actions. The moment the wrapper came off the bottle, I caved. Circumstances called – nay, demanded – that I open this Sassicaia and I do not regret it one tiny bit. Deep, rich and refined, with notes of berries, cherries and minty herbs … this wine sang. Jewels in the mouth, that’s what it was. It is officially in the running for my desert island wine.
