Barons de Rothschild rose champagne wine

Yesterday was National Rosé Wine Day. What? You didn’t know?? It’s the sole reason I’m on Twitter – to be bombarded with life-altering news alerts like impending financial crises, crazy oil prices, bush fires, and national rosé wine days.

Just so you know, we’ve passed Malbec, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, and we’re fast approaching Albariño, Pinot Noir, Cabernet, Grenache, Merlot, Tempranillo, and Zinfandel. And we cap it all off on Dec 31 with Champagne Day – or any other sparkling wine. (Yes, national wine days are nothing if not inclusive).

In the interest of one-upmanship, I celebrated National Rosé Wine Day one day ahead with a rosé Champagne #throwback by none other than Rothschild. So it’s safe to say I’m set even if I acknowledge or celebrate no other wine day until the end of time.
