Grands Echezeaux Burgundy wine review

Rusty brick red in the glass. Perfumed nose of damp earth, a mossy blanket, and the lightest of barnyard funk, all underscored by a burst of plum cherries. It’s like the earth opened up and swallowed me whole – in the best way possible. Soft acidity, smooth tannins, finish for days. Ahh. Now this is what I want to be in 10 years: subtle and elegant; saying few words but speaking volumes; and still being able to make one or two people swoon along the way.
